I am trying to find the instructions on how to deactivate SDL Trados Studio 2021 Freelance Plus on my now exploded laptop. I thought it was under Licenses and Subscriptions. Where are the instructions located exactly on how to do the above? I thought there would be buttons on the Licenses and Subscriptions page. I am using the German language version by the way. Trados Studio 2021 Freelance Plus allows for two activations on different machines. Currently, you have one activation remaining, so you can easily set it up on a new PC.
Once you have used the second activation, you will be able to reset the license from the non-functional PC and install it on the new one.

OK, yes, while I was waiting I just tried to install 2021 on my new laptop - and it worked, I'm in.
But on the "Licenses" screen you mention, which I 'm in now, there is no "Reset licenses" button showing - only the 2 options of offline activation/deactivation. Why is that? Thanks!

You are unable to see the Reset button because your second license still appears to be available. This indicates that the second activation has not yet been finalized. You can check that in your RWS account.
