Please make sure both Multiterm and Trados are at the latest version. You can check that from Help - Check for updates from both programs.

Also, please note you have upgrades in your account up to Trados 2022 Freelance Plus.

At the moment my 2019 licence is active and working. Studio and also MultiTerm are at the latest version. I planned to finish my current project on 2019, but now it sounds like a good idea to upgrade.

What would be the workaround to do this upgrade to Trados 2022 Freelance Plus?

Can I upgrade directly from 2019 to 2022?

Would I have to download Studio + MultiTerm 2022 first and then click on upgrade? Because when I get there it says it deletes the 2019 licence... would be okay as long as the new version works afterwards. :-)

Hi Jutta Mansutti 

First you need to process the upgrade to Trados 2021, then to process the upgrade to Trados 2022. This can be done from your account, Products and Plans - Licenses. No need to install anything other than Trados 2022 and Multiterm 2022, which can be found in Products and Plans - Downloads.

Please save any ongoing projects. Once you process the upgrade, you won't have access to Trados 2019 anymore.

I have now downloaded 2022. Is it of any importance if Studio or MultiTerm is installed first?

After both are installed I would proceed with licencing, right?

No, it doesnt matter which you install first. It only matters that they are at the same version.
