Licencing

I kindly ask for your assistance. I had issues with Windows and had to reinstall it. During the process, I deactivated and activated Trados several times. It turned out that this can only be done 3 times per year (I wasn’t aware of that).

Now, on my account I can see that the license is in use, and I cannot deactivate it from the account. The following message appears: “You can only reset your license 3 times within 12 months, it appears you have exceeded this limitation and the option to reset your license is no longer available. If you are having issues with your license and need further help please click here to log a request with the support team.”

Does this mean that Trados is blocked for an entire year? I am still using Trados on the same computer.

I kindly ask for help with unlocking the license.

  • Unfortunately, the issue has not been resolved and the case was closed. I am still unable to return the license from my account and re‑activate the license in my SDL Trados 2024.

The problem was caused by exceeding the limit of three deactivations within one year. However, this was not my fault, as I experienced issues with my Windows 11 system. I have been working continuously on the same computer, which should be easy to verify.

I kindly ask you to unblock my Trados license and enable me to continue using it in my daily work.

Thank you in advance for your assistance.

    Kind regards, Leszek Nowak
