Error during installation of Studio 2011 and Multiterm

Hello!

My old computer is close to crash so I am trying to install my Studio 2011 and Multiterm on my new laptop. I have a Freelance Plus license.

I downloaded the .exe files from the translation zone website and I clicked on them to start the process.

During the installation, I get an error.

For Studio, it is this one below.

For Multiterm, it is this other one:

I don't understand what they are about.

Is there anybody who can help me?

I appreciate that.

Thanks and regards,

Francesco

  • Hi Paul, I was able to manually installed. However, not all went smooth.

2010_vccredit_86.exe file had an issue and set up detected that the computer does not meet the requirements to install this software. A newer version of Microsoft Visual C ++ 2010 Redistributable has been detected on the machine

Also, my machine does not have o2003 or  o2007. My machine has Office 2010 installed. However, it seems that there is prerequisite called o2010.

In any case, I was able to open Studio but:

    - when I was trying to Activate, I got an error. It says "Activation failed. Error getting unlocking code (Support reference ErrorGettingUnlockingCode - 19)

    - If I was opening as a Trial version, and I was opening an old sdlxliff file already translated, I would get this error message: The translation memory data file engine returned an error: Attempt to write a ready-only database attempt to write a read-only database.

Can you please shed some light on what I need to do to make sure the installation is completed with the activation and that he translation memory data file is fixed?

    Thanks!
