I have just (finally) updated Studio 15 and Multiterm to SR2. I've restarted my computer. (I have Windows 10). I cannot open either program.

Question

I have just (finally) updated Studio 15 and Multiterm to SR2. I've restarted my computer. (I have Windows 10). I cannot open either program. The two error messages I get when trying to open the programs are: 
 1. "An unexpected error has occurred while loading the global plug-in services." 
 2. "Could not find any resources appropriate for the specified culture (or the neutral culture) on disk. baseName: Sdl.LCStudioIntegration.Common.plugin locationinfo:<null> filename:Sdl.LCStudioIntegration.Common.plugin.resources". 
 Can anyone tell me what to do, please? I have submitted a case to SDL. I cannot work!

If you need to repair one of the installations, you can open Programs and features and select the installer and choose repair. 
 I find it helps to search for SDL in the search box in the top right. Then select the installer you are interested in and then choose repair (highlighted below).

Hi Catherine, 
 Maybe you can try a reset and follow up with a repair. Rename this folder (just add _old to the end or something, it's not important what you rename it to) and restart Studio: 
 c:\Users\[USERNAME]\AppData\Roaming\SDL\SDL Trados Studio\12.0.0.0 
 Then run a repair installation by going to Programs & Features in your windows control panel, select SDL Trados Studio 2015 SR2 and then Repair :

If I understand you correctly- you have tried to install/save both Studio and MT to one drive?! 
Our software can only be installed to the C:/ default drive. 
Please re-download the software to the default C:/ path.
