I have just (finally) updated Studio 15 and Multiterm to SR2. I've restarted my computer. (I have Windows 10). I cannot open either program. The two error messages I get when trying to open the programs are:

1. "An unexpected error has occurred while loading the global plug-in services."

2. "Could not find any resources appropriate for the specified culture (or the neutral culture) on disk. baseName: Sdl.LCStudioIntegration.Common.plugin     locationinfo:<null>   filename:Sdl.LCStudioIntegration.Common.plugin.resources".

Can anyone tell me what to do, please? I have submitted a case to SDL. I cannot work!

Many thanks. Catherine

  • Hi Ladislav and thank you! Silly me - I have now enabled the hidden system files and folders and am trying to follow the resolution posted above, which states "Run a repair installation through the Control>Programs and Features for the following components: SDL MultiTerm 2015 Desktop and SDLMultiTerm 2015 Core". I have two questions and I'd be grateful of help! Firstly, how do I run a repair installation? I have gone to Control>Programs and Features but don't know what to do next. Secondly, this is for MultiTerm, so what do I do to repair Studio itself, or would I do the repair in the same way? Again, I hope that you follow what I mean! Please advise and many thanks.
