Difference between the field value "list" and "list (multiple)" in the field definitions of Groupshare 2017

Hi all,

Can anybody tell me the difference between the two definitions their appropriate usage? 2015 knew only the list definition.

Hi Martha,

List allows you to only select one value at at time, while "list (multiple)" allows selection of multiple values.

An example usage could be "Subject" which in theory should always only be "Travel" but never "IT" for example.

Wnhat's the reason for having two functions instead of one: in Groupshare 2015 the list-value did the trick for single AND multiple values???
