Is there a limit on the number of picklist values in a TM field?

Hi

We face the problem with a GS 2015 server-based TM that new field values are not updated in the TM when confirming a segment. 

We have a field "Customer". If we select a customer that exists since a while, the field value is updated. However, if we select a customer that we have just or recently added to the picklist, the field "Customer" is not updated. All other fields however are properly updated. 

We guess this may be due to the high number of picklist values we have. It is currently at 496.

Did any one experience a similar problem? Does soemone have a comparable high amount of picklist values without facing this problem?

    this is a known issue in GS 2015. There is a work-around for it, we got initially from SDL support.
    After updating the field template with the new entry, you unlink the template, then you delete all field entries in the tm. Afterwards you relink the template and the TM is correctly updated. This means you get all entries now, even the new ones.
    In GS 2017, things are different, but not really better (until now.... let's hope for SR 1)
