GroupShare project not displayed on Studio client/Deleted projects still displayed on Studio client

Good morning!

I have 2 questions:

1)

One of my collaborators (assigned as "reviewer") sent me a print screen of her Group Share projects on Studio client, as she wasn't being able to find a project on the list.

The project was correctly checked in by the translator.

I and the reviewer received the email notification from GS.

Finally, I advised her to access the project by clicking the link on the notification, what she has done successfully, but I wonder why the project doesn't display on her Studio client.

2)

From the print screen, I saw projects from 2015 and already deleted on GS administrator (I access via browser, SDL provides us the server space).

I wonder if there a way to refresh GS project's list on Studio?

We work with GS 2015.

Thank you.

Have a nice day!

Claudia

  • Dear Luis and Mitja,

    Thank you for your support!
I'm going to log a support case as I think these issues are due to a bug.

    Best wishes,
    Claudia
  • Hi Claudia
    best way yes.

But if she clicked on a link to a project, then the project has been downloaded by her and therefore she can't be opened over Open server project. Because it is already in her projects XML folder.

if this was not the case. And she wanted to open the project from the list is has to do something with her role on GS.
maybe this project is published to another Organisational unit on server where she doesn't have proper rights.

this needs to be checked who has the role for administration of Organisation unit on groupshare server.

if you need assistance i can help just pop me a private message.

We have SDL server technology from 2005 when it was still at TRADOS. I'm admin for SDL server for more than 10 years now.

    regards

  • Mitja,

Thank you for your willingness in helping me :-)

I've sent my message to SDL support as I'm pretty sure that it's a bug.

    As per your questions:

But if she clicked on a link to a project, then the project has been downloaded by her and therefore she can't be opened over Open server project. Because it is already in her projects XML folder.

    - I only told her to click on the link because she couldn't see the project on GS dialog box.

And she wanted to open the project from the list is has to do something with her role on GS.

    - Her role is the same. No changes have been done.

maybe this project is published to another Organisational unit on server where she doesn't have proper rights.

    - If you see the print screen, you'll notice that she has selected the option "include subfolders" to see all organisation units.

this needs to be checked who has the role for administration of Organisation unit on groupshare server.

    - It would be me. Her privileges are ok.

    - Good to know :-) I'll drop you a private message if something else strange pops up!

    Thank you!

    Cheers,

    Claudia
