GroupShare 2015 CALs management

Question

Dear community members, 
 Please let me know if there is a way to manage Project server CALs from GroupShare web or any other interface. The information displaying the usage is really useful, but how do I disconnect inactive clients? Is there a non GUI command that we can send to the server or some other way?

Hi Arturas, 
unfortunately there is no way to do that. You have to tell your users to remove all projects in their Studio list that are no longer active (from your picture I understand you have GS 2015). Every user that has a project in his list which is tied to your GS Server occupies a CAL. It gets better with GS 2017. Here the CALs are taken only when a user checks out a file. When he checks it in he loses all the rights and frees a licence. But also in GS 2017 there is no way to cick out a logged user (I already created an Idea, I hope it comes in the next future, you can give it a vote here: community.sdl.com/.../users-connected-to-gs-should-be-visible-and-if-necessary-forced-to-logout).
