The Finalize is a task processed by Studio.
From the Swagger API Documentation found as part of GroupShare at:
http://[YourServerName]/swagger-ui/#/
and
http://[YourServerName]:41235/docs/ui/index#/
there does not seem to be an API call that performs the Finalization Task in GroupShare.

From what I understand from this post, this functionality should be available in GroupShare 2020. I am sure the Community Members on the Dev Forums should be able to assist further.
