When are you going to stop of updating groupshare?

Hello people, when are you going to stop updating groupshare? and when is it going to call only groupshare?

I would like to have the lateset version installed, because I have installed groupshare 2017, and to buy in the future.

Which one of you could answer me theses questions?

Thanks beforehand.

  • But, when is it going to call only groupshare?, Nadege, told me some years ago that it lacked little to update and that you was going to leave as Groupshare only. What is the version you have now? and what is going to be the last version?

I don't think I'm clear on your question but will try to answer.

We are continuing to develop and support GroupShare on premise for the foreseeable future.  This will only be made available to customers who specifically don't want to use a cloud solution.  Most of our customers prefer the cloud as this brings more benefits for them, particularly the fact there are no maintenance requirements on your part and the continuous updates.

But of course there are always exceptions and this is why we will continue to support GroupShare on premise where it makes sense for the foreseeable future.

The current version of GroupShare is Trados GroupShare 2020 Cumulative Update 5 - Build 15.1.5.7243 (released on 21. July 2021):

I suggest you speak to either (I tagged Fran because of the country I thought you were in, possibly incorrectly)... or contact the Nadège you spoke to previously... tagging  as I'm guessing it may be this Nadège ;-)  You need to speak to one of them because if you don't see 2021 in your account already then you clearly need to upgrade and if you didn't purchase a support contract you will have to pay for this by engaging with one of them.

And if you let me to have installed or give step to download from my dowload page from here from SDL when it goes to be the last version?

I have no idea when this will be.  You need to keep an eye on the emails we send out, and all the other marketing we do when we update a version of the product.  I'm really surprised you didn't know we had released a version later than 2017.
