Hi Paul, this is Jesus from Spain and I am trying to install group share 2017, now after some intents of installing it says that a connection could not be stablished because the services failed desperately, what can I do with that? might you help me with this?

I think you should arrange for some assistance through your account manager. As far as I’m aware you had a trial installation of 2017 quite some time ago. Please correct me if I’m wrong. But if you have purchased a licence now it must surely be the latest version of GroupShare and not 2017.

Then Paul, can I not have intalled and licensed SDL GroupShare 2017 after all these years, if I say to buy it this summer?, Please speak to someone that I already have the installation paid, and that if I have installation paid, I should have Groupshare 2017 not 2020, because I do not have to pay for two installations.
Or you install 2020 with no cost nothing more than the server, or try to license the 2017 version.

No. This is because we do not sell this version any more. It's too old and we won't support it.

You only had a trial as far as I'm aware. So the best approach would have been to purchase the licence after the trial and then you would be fine. But leaving it several years isn't appropriate. I think if you wish to discuss this someone then Nadege Do Carvalho will be the best person to speak to.
