I need to upgrade our 10mln TU Groupshare SQL server from SQLServer 2016 to SQLServer 2019. Also I want to upgrade Groupshare 2020 from CU4 to CU5 (installed on a second server).
This is because CU5 raised the SQLServer minimum requirements to 2017+
What's the best way to proceed with the upgrade? Should some field types be changed (i.e. from text to varchar).
I tried a first run but groupshare services would crash at boot after upgrading tms to sql 2019.
In the installation manual coming with CU5 there's no words about such upgrade.
