We wanted to improve the responses received in this GroupShare forum as there were no reliable owners of it for a long time.  Part of the clean-up was to mark up posts that were answered with the appropriate flag (suggested or verified answer) and then to decide whether it's worth trying to respond properly to posts that are several years old and never received a response at all.

So what you have seen are the replies that the new, and very responsible owner, has added to all these "non-responded" posts.  It's the only way we can determine whether or not the original posters still need an answer.  I think it's likely they won't, but it wouldn't be responsible to just ignore them even at this late stage.

So thank you for your patience while we did this "clean-up" and welcome to the new Group Owner, Lydia Simplicio, who will make sure this group doesn't get left unattended like this again.

All right, Paul, I decided to write after receiving +60 messages, then turned off notifications, but I'm really interested in everything that is going on about GroupShare.

Indeed... such was the neglect.  We went through hundreds updating them yesterday.  Now if you filter on unanswered there are only a few and we'll keep on top of this going forward.
