I don't work for RWS, so I am not sure if they plan on fixing this issue or not. From a user perspective, I believe you have to avoid using Track Changes on segments with formatting tags.

Giuseppe Aulitto  - this is not something we have ever been able to reproduce and as such there is item outstanding with development.
If you are able to understand how the files got corrupt or able to reproduce please do let us know so we can work on it.

The reason why I am asking you this version is because the proposed knowledge base article was referring to GroupShare 2020 SR1 (an outdated version), and I do believe the issue that you are experiencing right now might have been solved in one of the next release. 

Can you also provide the context when this occurred? It will be helpful if you can share the source file so I can test it on my side with the latest GroupShare version. You can upload it in the FTP: https://centralftp.sdl.com/?u=PYKt&p=kpUD
