Hi Clarissa Becker , first thing make sure you have the latest update installed (17.0.4.13209), Help -> About Trados Studio. If you have a different version installed please download/install it from here: https://downloadcentercdn.sdl.com/TP/Trados/T2022/Studio/CUs/CU4/TradosStudio2022_CU4_13209.zip

If the above version is already installed, please run a Trados Studio repair as mentioned in the next article: https://gateway.sdl.com/apex/communityknowledge?articleName=000001414 . What I do believe what is causing this issue on your side is the fact that the file association is not configured it properly, and this could be solved either by reinstalling Trados Studio or by repairing Trados Studio.

Thanks a ton, Alex, so so much appreciated! I'll try all steps (I didn't have the latest update installed) - I have to finish work first, so it might take a while, but I'll let you know the outcome when I'm done.

Update fixed it, thank you, Alex! I was so frustrated I didn't have the patience for more technical stuff like looking into an update notification, although it should be obvious to give it a try.
