Azure AD authentication fails when trying to connect to a GroupShare server

I often need to connect to a client's GroupShare server to access translation projects there.

I am supposed to use Azure AD and log in with my credentials, which are linked to my Gmail e-mail address.

However, authentication always fails because Studio opens a browser for authentication that is obsolete.

My default Browser is Edge, which works fine for logging on to Google accounts in other contexts. I don't know what else to try.

Has anyone else had authentication problems with AzureAD?
