Merge cascaded project without losing match origin

Question

Is there any way to merge my string lists in the cascaded project back into the base project without losing the match origin information? 
 I tried to transfer it with the leverage feature, but it doesn't take over the match origin.

Can you please explain the use case a bit more detailed? I assume that your base project is EN-EN, the cascaded project will probably use the EN from the base project as source and add more languages i.e. FR and IT. Are you now looking to move back i.e. FR from the cascaded project back into the base project as a second target language? 
 The solution might be the project merging function. I briefly tested the Leverage and found out that some properties like the Origin are not transferred properly. I will insert this issue as a bug into the developers ticket system.
