Passolo 2022 - Macro for inserting the same comment in strings filtered by changed date XXX - Is this possible?

Good morning,

Can you help?

I need to insert the name of the software release (e.g. RP_13.1.2024.2) in the comment field. The number of strings is large, i.e., over 900. Is there a way to do this automatically? Maybe using a macro? If so, could anyone help?

Many thanks in advance.

Kind regards,

Rocío

  • I think I have giotten ahead. However, the comment is C:., This is also seen in the translation list.
How can you define the comments as T: for many stirings at the same time. Could it be possible to set a filter that would select all the new string in source and then add the comment
WHat happens now is that I have the filters grayed out

    1. define comment in source window

    2. Update target string list

    3. define filter

    4.Filter cannot be used

Screenshot showing a list of items labeled 'WizardE' with status 'new' and comments 'C: 2026'. Highlighted item is number 4310.

Why I cannot selet the filter

    The earler filters had TransComment
    instr(.TransComment, "2020") >

It seems that I should be able to select all the new source strings and comment them in the translation window. Or change the C: setting to T:.
