We started using the Integrated AppStore within Trados to get plugins and do updates. Now it is now it does not seem to be connecting to the appstore server.
Now seeing this:
This image also shows 0 for plugins but there are two showing when click on that tab.
This is still the URL for the Private Store, right?
I guess that's also why RWS took down https://community.rws.com/product-groups/trados-portfolio/rws-appstore/w/wiki/6403/private-appstore as mentioned here: What happened to the instructions on how to connect to the private appstore? . I thought it was just the instructions that disappeared, but it's the whole thing. So now, what's the solution? This isn't good really...

We removed the instructions on how to connect to the private appstore - as those services were restored as of 2022 CU5
Currently we have issues with the integrated appStore and while we restore the services that supports the integration, all our apps can be found on https://appstore.rws.com/

Hi Lydia, our company is on Trados 2021 with no plan to switch to Trados 2022. So, we must have a solution that works in Trados 2021, which is still a supported product. And from what I can tell, the public appstore still doesnt work in Trados 2021. Are you saying RWS has no plan to ever have the appstore work again in Trados 2021, and we have to go back to the old way of checking a web site for updates and installing plugins by hand?
If you don't have 2022 you will now have to go to the AppStore to get new plugins and to see if there are any updates?
Michel Farhi-Chevillard and David McDermit services were restored as of 2022 CU5 and they were backward compatible - making the dependency on the private AppStore redundant
This means 2021 users should have access to the integrated AppStore and will get notifications and updates.
However as I mentioned

Your original message made it sound like only those with 2022 would have access to the Integrated AppStore.

I agree, by specifically stating it would work with 2022 CU5, it really sounded like you needed the latest Trados 2022 patch to use the new appstore and that Trados 2021 users would be out of luck. I'm glad to hear that is not the case and I will be patient, though in the future, I would appreciate if RWS didnt take something down before the new thing is working.

Lydia Simplicio / Paul , do you confirm that the store is now working again in Trados Studio 2021 today. That is my impression but I wanted your confirmation before we let our team know they can switch back to the regular public store. Thanks!
I was maybe a little too fast. Downloading and installing plugins works, but the number of installed plugins reported is wrong (0) , so this part still needs work, right?

That's probably the number of updates available for the plugins you have installed.
