Regex Match AutoSuggest Provider not installed after updating the latest Trados Studio 2024 SR1 - 18.1.3.6657

Hello,

Regex Match AutoSuggest Provider appears to have stopped working correctly after updating Studio to 2024 SR1 - 18.1.3.6657 and prevents opening the main Autosuggest options page with this error:

However, the plugin seems to be still doing its job and suggesting:

The main Autosuggest page is only accessible if you uninstall RMASP.

This happens for releases 3.0.0.3 and 3.1.0.0 of the plugin, also if I reinstall the previous SR1 18.1.2.6370. This seems similar to what happened when updating from 2022 to 2024, when some things stayed broken even if you went back to 2022.

On the bright side of life, the dialog box resizing problems seem to be resolved, even if there are many ampersands visible. See screenshot:

Cheers,

Antonio

Please close Studio, remove this folder C:\Users\%username%\AppData\Roaming\Trados\Trados Studio\18, restart Studio, install all necessary plugins from App Store via Add-Ins in Studio one by one, without restarting the program inbetween. Then restart Trados Studio and everything should work as expected.

  • Hello Jerzy,

    Thanks for your reply.

I already did that; and I removed my user profile, went back to the previous SR1 release and again to the latest one, did an uninstall, cleanup and reinstall, used Freshstart... before posting. No use.

    Cheers,

    Antonio
