I just got SDL Trados Language Cloud and I am trying to set up translation memories. However, I am stuck when it asks me for the "Language Processing Rules" and to choose a "field template." These are required fields so If I don't type anything there, I can't continue. If you have any information about this, I would very much appreciate it. Thank you in advance.
Language Processing Rules (LPR) are usually created by default.
They manage various areas of customisation as seen below
LPR templates can be seen under Resources. However take note they are defined at a certain location, see below
Same is concept is true for Field Templates (FT)
With this in mind it could be that the location where you are creating your TM in, is not matching or your access rights means you can see the location where the LPR templates are.
My advice would be to see if you can find LPR and FT at the location where you are working at.
If not, then you would need to speak to your system admin to review your rights.
