Hi, after attending a seminar on the new functionalities of Trados 2024, I was told that Trados Copilot was only available on the professional versions of Trados i.e. Teams, Accelerate or Enterprise. Now, I'm interested in using the AI assistant features and looking into getting an Azure membership. Will this feature be compatible with Trados Freelance 2024 or do I need to upgrade? Thanks in advance.
A few things to unpack here to avoid confusion:
I was told that Trados Copilot was only available on the professional versions of Trados i.e. Teams, Accelerate or Enterprise.
Teams, Accelerate or Enterprise are all products that are part of Trados Cloud and are not related to Trados Studio (Freelance or Professional) other than Trados Studio can open cloud projects in these products and work on them if you are given access. You can purchase solutions using Trados Copilot for these versions.
