To change display order of TB synonym

; You select a SDL Trados Studio TermBase file (.sdltb)
; then, this Code moves the last modified synonym to the first place, all of them in the TB.

; Warning : It does not make any BackUps, just modifies the original one directily.
; Play only with carbon copy.

Last come First serve..

Screenshot of Trados Studio TermBase file showing the movement of the last modified synonym to the first place within the term base.

  • Interesting... I wonder if there is a demand for this behaviour?

I just found that MultTerm functionality has some problem
I do not know how to call it, a Bug ? or not ?
    I do not care

One thing is clear that it inhibits my main post work properly
Because it does not have proper structure within it.

I just added a Term using hotkey "Ctrl F2"
Then confirmed that it lacks its Date_data.

    Like this...

Screenshot of Trados Studio's MultiTerm showing an entry with missing Date_data. Red arrows point to the Term fields in English and Korean with the issue highlighted.

it is a minor one - and could be for version 2017 only.
but, it brings inconsistencies into TermBase

hope it will be fixed properly

    Regards

    thanks for the reply
yes, I am doubt about that too, just like you
this one is a kind of testing, nothing serious meaning

    And.. dear SDL..

I do not mind whatever you do for your community members'  account as a super user, including mine.
but, do not ruin my account, again, please.
I just found that SDL has changed my ID(or Nick or Account itself whichever..) forcefully and improperly
As a result of that I can NOT use my account anymore after that.
This account is pretty new one, If you do want to change its content, do it properly, so that I can use it after that.

    Thanks..

I moved all the content from your multiple accounts into this account you have now, which is actually the same one (username, email) as the one you originally created some years ago.  You seem to have now deleted the original one and all the content associated with it so it's now under the "former user" title and then recreated it with the same name and email.  I'm not sure why you did this, but we can try and see whether we can identify which of the "former user" posts were yours and which were not, then assign them back to your new one if you like?  It may take a while, if we can do it, but I'm happy to take a look with the community team.
