A good place to start would be this article perhaps... if only because it's relatable since it's translation:

Then, if you write down the steps you use now in order of the events.  So something like:

1. keyboard shortcut used to change the segment status with the app you have installed
2. keyboard shortcut to move to next segment

Once you write these down you have the beginning of your script.  It's worth going through this exercise because then you'll understand how it works and you will probably start to get more ideas for other things!

Some smart people to know would be... Kelly Edward, Nora Díaz, Jesús Prieto... all heavy users of AHK who often share scripts in here.

The first part works: "Send !{ä}" changes the status.

The second part does not work: "Send ^{Down}" should cause the move to the next segment…

What went wrong?

Thanks! I have tried it, and the move to the next segment works… but how can I combine the two steps? OK, I’ll restart my computer now and see if that helps… will get back to this thread.

(Note: I had looked up the command https://www.autohotkey.com/docs/commands/Sleep.htm
It seems there should be no comma after sleep, but maybe it works with a comma, too; I haven’t tried that.)

Should you need One(1) comma - i.e. you need only one(1) argument (comma seperates each arguments)

then the first (and only) comma is optional for your convenience. 

ah, just the first comma can be omitted (regardless of later arguments/parameters counts)
