How do I know when the cloud termbase import is finished?

I uploaded a tbx file and got the message that it was queued for processing.

How do I know when the import is finished?

  • Hi

Good question, and useful feedback as this is still a Beta, so I added  in case he would like to follow up.  I ran a couple of tests, first with a small TBX and this didn't help as it was all over too quickly.  So I loaded a larger one and this is what happens:

First of all you get the loading file message.  It showed 100% fairly quickly but the count in seconds doesn't change and remains at zero:

I then get this message after it's actually loaded:

If the file loaded successfully I then get this, which answers your question:

I now have 30k entries in my termbase:

So perhaps you are testing with a very large termbase that is just taking a long time, and without any kind of progress indicator you don't know where you are?

I also tested with a termbase that was a different definition to the one I created in the first place and then I get this after the file loading message:

The language fields were ok, but there were additional fields that did not match.  Now, I also created a simpler file with different fields and that imported ok so I guess my problem is more specific and we need to investigate it, but I think it's clear you should be notified when the import is complete if it all works, and if it doesn't then you should get a failure notice.

There is also a nice simple history of imports available so you can see what happened afterwards:

Perhaps you can elaborate a little on what you are trying to do based on size of import, definition differences etc.?

    Thanks
