We are having an issue with Trados 2017 and Fragment Matching while using SDL Language Cloud Machine Translation. In our project, we are using Machine Translation and an empty file-based TM at the same time.
The problem appears when we confirm the translation of a segment and move to the next. While the next segment contains fragments that should be matched with those of the previous segment that we just translated, nothing appears on the Fragment Matches Window. At first we thought that our created TM wasn’t working properly, but we found out that if we close and reopen the .sdlxliff file, or open and confirm the Project Settings, the fragment match appears normally. If we remove the Cloud Translation Memory, everything works properly from the start. We have checked on two different Trados installations on different computers. Is there anything we can do to stop this behavior?
Furthermore, there seems to be another issue with the upLIFT Match Repair while using machine translation to repair matches, as it doesn't seem to work. We don't know if it's relevant to the problem, but every time we re-enter the Project Settings, the "Use maching translation to repair matches" box seems to be unchecked, even though we did check it previously.
