Hello ,
I am wondering whether you are translating a.ttx (Trados2007) Bilingual file?
If you have updated your SDL Studio 2017 SR1 license (with the latests CU's) then the solution might be to translate the original source file instead-
gateway.sdl.com/.../communityknowledge

I am using normal sdlxliff file.
