Does anyone know how charaters are counted by Labguage Weaver?
I have taken out a 1-month subscription and translated about 50,000 words in six days and now I am looking at the reports and it turns out I've already exceeded 1,000,000 characters. It's not letting me use it use it anymore.
This is really weird, the total number of files added to my projects in Trados total about 50,000 words.
Any ideas?

Hello Fernando,
Language Weaver counts all characters sent for translation. If you are using Trados Cloud resources, Cloud Resources (powered by Language Weaver) is treated as a TM in Trados Studio. If LookAhead is enabled, multiple segment translation will be triggered as you work through the file, thus inflating MT usage. To prevent this from happening, pre-translate the file and then disable the machine translation provider.

Another option is to use the Language Weaver plugin from the AppStore. This will allow you to set this option which prevents unnecessary drawing down from your allowance as you navigate up and down your file:
