The NMT suddenly stopped working. It doesn't send any error messages, only says "No matches found". I've uninstalled and reinstalled, and also downloaded an upgrade that was available and still no success.

Are you connecting using the plugin Language Weaver or via the out-of-the-box cloud resources?
If you're using cloud resources, please install the Language Weaver provider, or vice-versa, use the cloud-based resources to try to get results.
If none is working, maybe you should check if you still have characters left within the maxi. characters allowed?
