Unable to select a Generic - NMT when trying to connect Language Weaver to Studio 2022 SR1

Hello!

I am trying to connect Language Weaver to my Studio 2022 Professional software, but find that the final step in the directions below is impossible:

Instructions on how to activate Language Weaver in Trados Studio, including selecting cloud-based resources and a Generic - NMT translation model.

The following shows that the Generic - NMT translation model is not there:

Trados Studio dialog box for Cloud-based Resources with Machine Translation selected but no translation models or dictionaries listed.

I installed the Language Weaver plugin, but that doesn't do anything either. Language Weaver just doesn't show up.

I tried signing into the Language Weaver portal, but there I get the message:

Error message on a black background stating 'Could not load registration details. Please try again in a few moments.' with a warning icon.

Waiting a few minutes doesn't help; the same message keeps coming up.

Does anyone know what I need to do to make this work?

Thanks in advance!

Kathleen

I really think you should start using the forums we have specifically set up for students and Universities who are our academic partners:

     RWS Campus

There is a student group as well which you should be able to access if your University provided you with the token they were given when they became an academic partner. The reason I think you should use this facility is because we have different solutions for the Academic Partners and the answers we provide will not help anyone else in this forum... particularly around the use of Machine Translation.

It will also be better because then the discussions will also be more attuned to the needs of students leading to a forum that over time will be more useful in general.
