I am needing help setting up Trados Studio 2017 (SDLTrados Studio 2017 SRI - 14.1.10018.54792) with Language Weaver. I have installed the Language Weaver plug-in (It displays as "SDL Machine Translation Cloud provider" in the TM selection window). When I go to the settings I log in, then I go to the Setting options, it does not allow me to change from the Generic engine model to an adapted TM I have created in my Lang Weaver account.

Can I use my desktop application with my Language Weaver Adaptive Language pairs or do I have to use the online (cloud) interface for Language Weaver? Unfortunately, the online interface does not accept IDML (InDesign) files.

Does Trados Studio 2017 limit my Language Weaver capabilities?
