SDL Cloud subscriptions

Question

I have recently bought SDL Freelance 2015 and am wondering just how many people subscribe to the monthly iCloud subscriptions with the dictionary and engines? 
 Are they worth it? 
 Which is the best value for money? I am only working part-time at the moment so I am trying to keep my outgoings as minimal as possible. 
 I am also curious just how many people use google and pay for the API key?

That's a good question, but I think you should try the free options first and see whether you actually need more than the free allowance provides. The dictionaries are good, particularly if you have a lot of repetitive names or phrases that need to be translated in a particular way as the dictionaries allow you to "force" the MT to translate these as you need and cut down the amount of post-editing. But I would have a play with the SDL Language Cloud free options first and see what you think.

ok - you can still use the free options though. Just no custom dictionaries.
