SDL packages

I have purchased a SDL Package today with engines etc. However, when I  try to add it to a new project it says its not SDL compatible. Can someone please explain how these work. I purchased the $15 pack.

  • Hi Sarah,

I think there may be some confusion. I believe you purchased the "Pro" package from SDL Language Cloud at $15 per month which is only intended for use with Microsoft Office and you can't use it from within SDL Trados Studio. Our support organization has switched you to the Free package and I'll make sure that your $15 is refunded to your account. If you want to use SDL Language Cloud from within SDL Trados Studio then you need a compatible subscription that specifies "Integration with SDL Trados Studio" on the package. Currently there are four other alternatives: Basic, Advanced, Expert and Specialist at $10, $35, $75 and $90 per month respectively. I hope this clears up the confusion.
