Termbase cannot be opened due to unsupported version of MultiTerm

Question

Hi all, 
 I have an sdltb that I used to work with, but it appeared to be incompatible with my MultiTerm all of a sudden. Here is the error message that the tool returns every single time I attempt to open my termbase: 
 
 I really struggle to realise what the problem is because I used to work with this file without experiencing any problem. 
 My current MultiTerm version is SDL MultiTerm 2015 SR2 - 12.2.1629.0 
 Do you have any idea what this is about?

Hi CyberSOC Academy,

Since you say it used to work fine, perhaps it is related to the file path.
Do you have any special characters in the path?
Try moving the termbase to a different place and then try reopening it.

BTW there is a KB article saying this error can appear when semicolons are used in the path or name:
gateway.sdl.com/.../communityknowledge

Hello, I had the same problem with MultiTerm 2019, so I would like to add that also characters with "accents" (e.g. á, ů) can cause the same problem. I removed all the "accented" characters in the name of the file and related folders and then everything worked well again. Thanks for your answer that worked for me :)
