SDL Multiterm 2017 word integration not work

Question

I installed the SDL MultiTerm Word Integration , and copied & pasted MultiTerm14.dotm into Microsoft Word Startup folder and WINWORD.EXE.config into Microsoft Word installation folder. However, the add-in on Microsoft word just shows a Multiterm 2015. Worst of all, the Word generated a prompt showing a problem, couldn't work and would not be closed. Can anyone help me?

Maybe you are running up against having a 64-bit version of Word? I don't think the MultiTerm add in will work in this environment. But I can't be sure as I don't understand any of the error messages!

Perhaps this is the key to your problem. Uninstall MT 2015 and remove it from your version of Word. Then run a repair on the MT 2017 installation. You can run 2015 and 2017 side by side, but perhaps it causes a conflict when you try to have them both installed in Word?

I think you should log a case and have an engineer take a look. If you can't resolve this using the KB article Jesse suggested, and you only have 2017 installed, and you are using a 32-bit version of office then I have no idea what to do next.
