Why is term recognition not working consistently?

Question

Since upgrading to Studio/MultiTerm 2017, we have noticed some problems with integration. In the most prevalent instance, terms are not delivered immediately to the Term Recognition window automatically when moving to the next translation unit. The window is simply blank with "No terms found" or whatever. Simply cursoring in and out of the TU is usually enough to get the system to "wake up" and fill in the Term Recognition window properly again. 
 Nevertheless, this is very frustrating, especially since this was never a problem with TS/MD 2015. 
 When will this be fixed?

If it's working inconsistently like this try turning off the lookahead feature and see if this helps.

Greetings, I had the same problem. Term recognition was not showing any results. First I ran the Repair function of Studio and when that didn't work I used the Reset Windows Layout function. That fixed the issue for me.

I think we'd need to know why the problem is occurring before we could tell you when it'll be fixed. I wonder if it's related to your definition and use of the default layout (which does need a little work)? Try using the Flags layout as you work and see if this works better?
