Multiterm Converter

Question

The Multiterm Converter does not show up on my Start menu for 2017. I am watching a YouTube video on conversion from Excel to a termbase. Is there another location for it, or is there an extra purchase?

 Are you talking about the Glossary Converter perhaps? That's the easiest way to convert an Excel file into termbase. It's free but you need to download it from the SDL App Store: appstore.sdl.com/.../ If you're talking about SDL Multiterm 2017 Convert, that is installed along with Multiterm.

Oh... sorry Jane Vogel , I misunderstood. 
 
Try pressing the windows key and then type convert. You'll see it come up in your list. It's under "SDL MultiTerm 2017" in your apps list in windows.

This is a standalone application developed by a third party so you won't find this on your Multiterm menu. You should have an icon on your desktop though. 
 
Alternatively just hit the windows key and start typing glossary. Should come right up.

You can't, it's a separate application as noted earlier in this thread.
