Hello,
I was reading this thread hoping to find an answer, but none to be found.
https://community.sdl.com/solutions/language/translationproductivity/f/91/t/6519#pi6614=1
Just like everyone else, I've had no luck with being able to process any format of files. It just hangs at 0% for hours.
What i want to do get a monolingual termbase from a ppt.
Please explain the ideal method for doing this.
So far, I've run it through trados as a new project and created an sdlxliff. To turn that source only tmx, I used the TMServe\SDLXliff2Tmx program. But it created only a 1kb file that didn't work. Plus, according to this thread:
https://community.sdl.com/solutions/language/translationproductivity/f/91/t/7689
That method doesn't work and I need to create the tmx from within trados. How do I make a tmx from just an xliff from within trados? The only way i could think of was by turning the xliff data into a TM by pseudo translating it with garbage, and saved it to a junk TM and turned that TM to a trados-made tmx file. Still, extract didn't process the tmx file.
Please tell me there is a way to actually use this program?
