Search MultiTerm for special characters, like [ ]

Question

We've need to filter/search our MultiTerm DB by special characters as part of a big cleanup effort. 
 But whenever we enter any of [ ], the search returns nothing. But we can see that there are terms that contain these characters. 
 
 If I search for *) the search returns all terms like Supertext (Switzerland). */ also works. 
 
 Anything we are missing? We could not find much in the MultiTerm online help about it... 
 Maybe we have to escape those somehow?

Looks as though you can use this and it will find your term: 
 
*[* 
 
The help suggests that *[ should work as well in a "Normal Search" but it fails for me and for you.

Can you provide some proper example to test. These characters work for me when the words start with a bracket preceded by a space. But if there are characters before the bracket then even the wildcards won't help and I need to know the exact character. So it does seem a bit flaky to me. But good to see exactly the type of things you are trying to find.
