In Multiterm, the cursor keeps jumping over to the left panel (Hitlist) while I'm trying to edit an entry in the right panel, and Tab can't be used to move it back to where I need to edit on the right.

Question

In Multiterm, i.e. the new Service Pack edition for 2017, the cursor keeps jumping over to the left panel (Hitlist) while I'm trying to edit an entry in the right panel. Therefore, I continually have to re-click on the parts of the entry where I want to make changes. Even worse, ONLY the mouse works to re-locate the cursor in the places I need to edit in the right panel, because this version of Multiterm makes it impossible for me, by using Tab or arrows alone, to get back from the left panel to wherever I need to edit in the entry. How can I solve this?

It happened very irregularly, but I think it was fixed in that remote session with the SDL technician when my laptop mouse was switched off.

I haven't come across that one, but I wonder if using a different layout would help?

I'm not sure what you mean. Refresh View and Reset Window Layout make no difference to the problem.
