Impossible to create a termbase

Question

Dear all, 
 When I try to create a new termbase, the following message appears: 
 "Impossible to create a termbase. Multiterm cannot create the termbase. Incorrect file name." 
 Does anyone have the same problem? 
 There is no update to be done...

I do think it's too old... but it should still work! You didn't mention the path and I just wanted to check you had no unusual characters in the path to the file. 
 
Perhaps try a simple reset first. This often solves unusual problems we can't put a specific finger on. Rename this folder (just add _old to the end or something, it's not important what you rename it to) and restart MultiTerm: 
 
c:\Users\[USERNAME]\AppData\Roaming\SDL\SDL MultiTerm\MultiTerm11

You were right, there was a problem with the name of the folder I was trying to save the termbase in. I used another folder and it worked!

It would help if you provided a little more information here. 
 
- What was the filename you were trying to use? 
- What was the path to the termbase? 
- Where is the termbase going to be stored... locally or on another drive/location somewhere?
