Cannot add terms to termbases, termbase downloads on Trados

Hi, I have the same problem some people seemed to have on Trados 2014 and Trados 2015, only I have it with the 2017 version. I cannot use my termbases on Trados, because they are constantly "loading". Hence, I cannot see my terms nor add new terms to the termbases. 

I have tried

-finding the MultiTerm12 file - could not find it.

-creating whole new termbases - same problem

-restarting both Trados and MultiTerm - no change.

 

Could someone help me with this? I would need to get MultiTerm back up as quickly as possible.
