Glossary Converter - Adding multiple values for picklist fields when importing Excel spreadsheet - term duplicates

Hi!

I would like to convert my Excel spreadsheet to a MultiTerm termbase. I have a set of pre-defined picklist values (e.g. subject (A, B, C) or status (A, B, C)) that should be automatically assigned during conversion inside my Excel spreadsheet (see screenshot below). Using the Glossary Converter, the terms get duplicated which is not desired.

For example:
I have a subject (or status) field with multiple picklist values that should be added to the term altogether. However, I get multiple identical term entries/duplicates.
Something that MultiTerm does not really allow either (see error below; bug?).
Error message in Trados Studio stating 'Cannot save entry. Equal synonyms in the same index within the same entry are not allowed.' with an OK button.
Is there a trick to get the desired result?

Excel spreadshirt before conversion:
Excel spreadsheet with two columns labeled 'English' and 'Subject' with the word 'Test' in the first row under English and 'A B C' under Subject.

After conversion using the Glossary Converter (entry level (subject); term level (status)) (3 terms, 2 duplicate terms):

Trados Studio MultiTerm termbase showing 'English A B C' as a single entry at the entry level.
Trados Studio MultiTerm termbase showing three separate entries for 'Test' with 'Status A', 'Status B', and 'Status C' respectively.

Please help! Thanks!

Best regards,
Manuel
