Maximum number of terms

Is there a maximum number of terms in a termbase in Multiterm 2019 for it to work well with the Studio 2019 interface? In previous releases 10,000 was recommended, anything above that slowed things down considerably.

The problem with a MultiTerm file-based termbase is it's essentially a Microsoft Access database and does have inherent limits. I played with this once and built a termbase with around 130k terms:

But this was a fairly simple structure, so as the definition gets more complex I'd expect it to handle less terms. So while there is no hardcoded limit, it's never going to handle huge termbases. 10k, 20k, 30k... these should all be ok in general.
