MultiTerm 2019 stopped working when trying to merge entries and now it won't open at all

Question

Yesterday, my MultiTerm 2019 stopped working after I tried to merge two entries. It loads but it does not open. Is anyone aware of this issue and know a solution for it?

Are you doing this with an import or through the editor? If the latter try it using a different layout to the default (flags layout for example) and see if this makes a difference for you. Also, how many termbases have you got attached to your project? If more than one try disabling them all apart from the one you are working with and see if this helps? 
 
I'm guessing really, but play around a little like this and see whether you can prevent the problem occurring. If you can't please feel free to send me the offending Termbase and steps to reproduce the issue - pfilkin@sdl.com
