MultiTerm Extract is a standalone tool-so does not connect directly into Studio, but you would use the extracted terminology in your MT Desktop glossaries. 

MT Extract is still used by Corps/LSP's and Freelancers -so will remain available via our website/individual account managers.

MultiTerm Extract is a standalone tool that does not require a separate license (or a Studio license)- so although it does belong in the 'MultiTerm' catergory, it is not part of the standard package.

Regarding this old issue, I'm not able to find Multiterm Extract in the store. There's some information for sure (https://www.sdltrados.com/products/multiterm-extract/), but links are a dead end. Strange.

Can you please shed some light on it?

It was actually removed from the SDL store a little while ago and can currently only be purchased by going through your account manager, if you have one, or by contacting the live chat team.

However, I would note that this application is quite old and it has not been updated to work with more modern file formats, including SDLXLIFF and SDLTMs.  So depending on what you want this for it may involve some workarounds to get the source files into the older formats that are supported.

If you're just looking for a simple term extraction tool for your Studio projects then you might find the ProjectTermExtract app on the appstore useful:
