Cannot enter or edit terms in MultiTerm 2017 SR1 14.2.7.43908

Hi,

I recently started a new termbase, but with some terms I repeatedly receive the following type of message when I try to enter or edit a term (I cannot even delete it and then re-enter it). Plus I cannot close the window "This term already exists in the datebase" where I have to choose between "Duplicate" or "Merge". Closing and reopening the database does not solve the problem either (and I can only close it by forcing it to close via the Task Manager).

 

Error message in Trados Studio stating 'An error in a script occurred on this page. This termbase does not contain any entry with this entry number' with options to continue running scripts.

Can you please help me solve this problem? It is pretty annoying not being able to edit/change terms.
