Search function not working

Hello,

I installed MultiTerm a couple of months ago and the search function has been working on and off.

First I reset MultiTerm and it worked again, then it stopped working. I was told that the antivirus might interfere with the software, so I had the IT team put it on the white list, but it still didn't work. Then I started opening MultiTerm with "Execute as the administrator" and I thought it had solved the problem, but now for some reason it's not working again (nothing happens when I click on Enter). I selected the right languages, so the problem doesn't come from there.

The only thing I can think of is that I switched from a temporary Trados license to a permanent one, and someone from SDL reset my license. Could this have something to do with my problem?

Thanks for your help!

  • Please try the updates, it may solve your problem.

If it doesn't you can contact the installation support team and they'll help you free of charge...

To save you looking back at my post, I'll repeat it here:

The easiest way to be sure you have the correct version of MultiTerm for the the version of Studio you're running.

The numbers after each for 2019's latest version are those you see in the images in my last post.

I hope this solves your problem. If not, you can contact installation help free of charge when after installing you are unable to work normally:

Fill in the form, select 'Installation' from the 'Case type' dropdown and, most importantly, give your correct email address so that they can contact you.
It won't take long to do any of the above and it will save you time in the long run, honestly...!
    All the best!
